I walk a lot.

I have been "framing" things for as long as I can remember.

I hardly ever carry a camera - mostly because of the time warp I seem to enter when I do - but also because they get heavy.

I believe that if you come across something that shows up as beautiful in your world, it is good to embrace it, experience it, and relish the way it makes you feel, for as long as possible. I know that there will always be ample opportunity to find ugly.

I have been calling myself a photographic artist for several years - but now that I think about it - I am not sure that I have actually said that out loud to anyone. (I think it sounds a little pompous maybe?)

I used to carry a notebook so I could record the many "profound" insights that popped into my head throughout my day. I stopped doing that years ago - I guess when I had read enough to know that there are a lot of better writers out there who are just as "out there" as I am. I no longer have any of those notebooks.

I do however have a cell phone and lately I have been sending myself text messages for some reason. These are from the last few days:

"what does your soul cry out for? do you know how to listen? do you know enough to listen?"

"what does it mean to allow love? to cultivate love?"

As you can see I am still a work in progress.

I have been a photographer for over 30 years. I shoot portraits, still life, nature, abstracts, macro, urban oddities,events (except for weddings), and landscapes.My images are available for purchase.
